Raised on Midwest punk rock and lured to the Bay Area after seeing Idiot Flesh play in a Minneapolis dive bar, Phil currently percusses for Pins of Light, and has previously drummed for Triclops!, Peace Creep, and Lower Forty-Eight, among others - along the way obsessing over the recording of said bands. Phil has been recording music professionally for over 25 years. Phil currently plays in Trans Am, Terry Gross, Feral Ohms and Life Coach. Phil has also played in Golden, The Fucking Champs, Oneida, Jonas Reinhardt and Once and Future Band. As a mere child Donny Newenhouse first began to reveal the musical abilities that were prevalent throughout his life. Word soon spread and before long he was traveling to many cities in North America and Europe, many of them multiple times, playing miraculous tunes with such groups as Film School, Holly Golightly, Hot Fog, and Hammerdown Turpentine. Donny would go on to record professionally for more than 20 years—sometimes in America’s barns and mangers, sometimes in her plentiful studios. Donny was and continues to be a refuge for the Spirit, a man of indescribable peace, and the pinnacle of the Hierarchy of Perfected Souls in the Kingdom of the Shining Ones. Praise Him.
